Renovator-C, RTSZ

  • Renovator-C RTSZ are designed for the use in three-phase four-wire distribution networks (380 and 440 volts and frequency 50 or 60 Hz).

    Normally RTSZs are connected to distribution network in locations close to the load center. If it is not possible to locate RTSZ in the load center they are located in the Transformer Substation or Distribution Substation of the distribution network.

    When RTSZ is connected to distribution network, it:

    • Reduces currents of zero sequence of fundamental frequency in the distribution network and feed transformer 10/0,38 kV;
    • Reduces zero sequence currents of triplen higher harmonics in the distribution network and feed transformer 10/0,38 kV;
    • Reduces zero sequence currents of higher harmonics, aliquant to three, in the distribution network and feed transformer 10/0,38 kV;
    • Reduces zero sequence voltages and unbalance of the fundamental frequency of phase voltages in the distribution system and feed transformer;
    • Reduces distortion factor of sinusoidal voltage in the distribution system;
    • Reduces zero sequence voltages of higher triplen harmonics in the distribution system and feed transformer 10/0,38 kV;
    • Reduces zero sequence voltages of higher harmonics, aliquant to three, in the distribution system and feed transformer 10/0,38 kV;
    • Reduces heating of feeding power transformers 10/0,38 kV during non-linear computer-type loading of the distribution system;
    • Reduces energy loss in the line of the distribution system and feed transformer during non-linear computer-type loading of the distribution network;
    • Reduces potential difference of zero wire and ground at frequency 50 Hz;
    • Reduces potential difference of zero wire and ground at the frequency of higher harmonics 100 Hz – 200 kHz;
    • Ensures 5 – 8 times reduction of pulse voltage disturbances of zero and linear phases in the network;
    • Ensures 4 – 6 times reduction of phase voltage fluctuation during abrupt load change;
    • Reduces acoustic noise of power transformer at 50 % non-linear consumer load (К=20) for 10-15 dB;
    • Reduces vibration of transformers with frequency of 300 Hz for 10-15 dB;
    • Extends transformers service lifetime due to decrease of magnetic core and windings temperature;
    • Improves operating conditions for instrumentation of power suppliers and consumers as a result of the reduction of sine voltage distortion factor;
    • Improves reliability of consumers’ equipment performance and reliability of technological processes.
